Artist bio

Sheera Ann is a native Floridian, born and raised.  She is a natural born artist that comes from many generations and has an extensive background in the beauty and modeling industry for over 10 years now.  As a perfectionist by nature, she has such precision and a knack for tasteful, subtle hints of definition, shading, and color theory, that you can see it all come alive in her work.  Her love of enhancing ones own natural beauty while complimenting unique facial features of all types is widely accredited and she is obsessed with creating the most life like, realistic looking brows possible.

The artist behind the blade

Sheera Ann Burton is a wife and mother to two beautiful girls. More recently over the last 3 years she set aside her aspirations and any corporate career goals she once had to be a stay at home mommy.  Besides being a full time cosmetic tattoo artist now, in her spare time (if she ever gets any) you can find her performing locally on stage doing standup comedy.  Writing, art and creativity have always been at her core.  Her sense of humor is usually dark and controversial, and all the things most women are afraid to say.  But most importantly, she keeps it real and is the kind of friend that will tell you when you look like you haven't slept this century or when there is lipstick on your teeth.  No filter and that's usually what everyone loves about her.  Having a good sense of humor has gotten her through much of life.  She loves being a free spirit and having free artistic range.  Art and laughter are forms of expression and the kind she fully enjoys.  To her, it keeps her grounded and a force that can't be tamed.  She is huge on women empowerment and from the second you step into her edgy studio you will see that her sense of design and the powerful energy the studio holds, exudes that.  Be ready to feel empowered and pampered leaving her studio.  And believe us when we tell you it is intentional.

once a perfectionist, always a perfectionist

From the time she was 2 years old she was helping her mother pick out clothes, shoes and secretly playing in her makeup stash and applying it with precision.  She was and still is a bit of an introvert.  She was often a loner on the playground.  Never afraid to go off and do her own thing or afraid of standing out, in fact she prefers it.  In high school, she was known for writing in the newspaper, always having her nose in a book, performing on stage and designing all of her own clothes she would sew by hand.  Sometimes her need to achieve perfection would keep up sewing all night long, until she was happy with what she had sewn or drawn, only to get maybe an hour of sleep before she had to go to school the next day.  It didn't matter what she was doing, she did it with passion and pride.  The phrase she would hear all her life was "It doesn't have to be perfect Sheera." and even so her answer always was and always will be "Yes it does!".  Those qualities today, serve purpose in what she does now and is why her work continues to stand out above the rest.  She views every eyebrow as a piece of living art and she takes her utmost time designing and making sure everything is absolutely perfect and tailored to each persons unique bone structure, before she even begins.  Every little detail matters and that's what she loves about being a cosmetic tattoo artist the most.

these days

Now in her early 30's, Sheera has never been more thrilled to be doing something she is so passionate about, where she gets to use her creative and artistic talents now everyday.  She especially loves the satisfaction it gives, helping others feel better about themselves visually and giving them the confidence they sometimes never even knew they had.  She takes pride and joy in her private studio where she gets to see all her clients leave with the brows they've always wanted.  Not to mention, everything in her studio is geared towards supporting other local businesses and creative artists alike, to thrive and be recognized for their unique talents.  A large part of Lush Beauty and Browtique's company mission is to give back to the community and help keep it's creativity alive, growing and always flourishing!  Be sure to check out the art  and hand crafted products she has featured every month!

"My mission as a artist is not to change you or who you are, but to compliment your own beautiful natural features, remembering that each face is already equipped with it's own unique design.  My job is to enhance these wonderful features that make you, YOU, not change them completely.  Oh and to also give you some beautiful, banging, perfectly tailored eyebrows to wake up to everyday!"
